About me
Shailaja Sampat is a senior researcher in the AI lab at Fujitsu's research division in the USA. She earned her Ph.D. from Arizona State University, with a thesis focusing on the intersection of natural language processing and computer vision. Her current research spans autoML, data wrangling, and large language models for industrial applications. She has had over 10 papers accepted in top-tier AI venues such as EMNLP, NAACL, EACL, KR&R, CVPR workshop, and AAAI workshop, which have been cumulatively cited over 900 times. Her previous affiliations include IBM Research, Philips Research, ITRI-Taiwan, and IIT-Bombay, where she held positions as a short-term researcher.
